Sixteen scripts
to record

Read these into your phone, one line at a time. Tick each line off as you get it. No camera needed, the footage from the shoot does the rest.

How to record them

Sat in the van with the engine off is perfect. Doors shut, windows up. It is the quietest room you have got and it beats an office every time.

One line at a time, two takes each. Leave a full second of silence before and after every line so we can cut them cleanly.

Read it slightly slower than feels natural. It always sounds rushed back on the edit. Say it like you would say it stood on someone's drive.

If a line does not sound like you, change it. The point is what it says, not the exact words. Say it your way and give us a second take.

Every script has two endings. Record both. One is for the ads, one is for the organic posts, and we swap them out per platform.

Six things to confirm

A few lines rest on how you actually work. Have a read before you record, and tell us if any of it is wrong.

  • D2 says it is usually the base that has failed, not the surface. Right?
  • D4 says one of resin or block paving is the wrong call on a lot of front drives. Happy with that?
  • D6, D1, D3, M3, M4 all describe the yard. Check we have got it right: waste comes back, gets processed, gets sold on to other builders.
  • Decide who reads them, and keep it the same voice across all sixteen.
  • Nothing here claims a percentage saving. If you want a number in there, give us one we can stand behind.
  • Any town in here you do not cover, say so and we will swap it.
